Job Description Specialty Instructor - Sports & Arts (General)

The Port Moody Community Services Department is currently seeking personable, experienced, reliable and dynamic Specialty Instructors to lead a variety of preschool and school-aged children sports and arts programs in a recreational setting. 

Candidates must be available to work shifts that could be scheduled on weekdays between 9:00AM-6:00PM, and weekends 9:00AM - 5:00PM.  Please include your availability in your application.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Related experience working with preschoolers or children  
  • Emergency First Aid with CPR-C 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership characteristics
  • High Five certification is an asset

Please note that employment with the City of Port Moody is subject to the receipt of a satisfactory Police Information Check. A satisfactory driver's abstract may also be required.
